Formation kinetics of YBa2Cu3Ox, YBa2Cu3Oy, Y2BaCuO5, BaCuOz2 and Y2Ba2O5

Description
The kinetics of barium carbonate interaction with copper and yttrium oxides in Y2Ba2O5, BaCuO2, YBa2Cu3Ox, YBa3Cu2Oy and Y2BaCuO5 synthesis are studied. Rate constants and apparent energies of activation reactions are determined. An accelerating function of the liquid phase in the production of YBa2Cu3Ox at 950 deg C is shown. Phase formation sequence in the synthesis of the above compounds is established
