Description

Full Text: Motivated by a growing body of data which points to the existence of fluctuating quasi-one-dimensional hole-rich stripes in the cuprate high-temperature superconductors, I will present a model of interacting electrons on a fluctuating one dimensional geometry. I will then discuss a few of its properties, with emphasis on the electronic spectral function and the combined effects of disorder and fluctuations on the phase-diagram
