Is MLC better than MIMIC for IMRT ?

Description
Intensity modulation radiation therapy is an on-going treatment modality. The CORVUS treatment planning system, available from NOMOS, which is capable of generating plans for both MLC (multi-leaf collimator) as well as for MIMIC (Multi-leaf intensity Modulating Collimator) on the SIEMENS primus accelerator has been implemented. In this presentation the two techniques are compared with respect to clinical cases
