Description
The Obrigheim nuclear power station was operated at full load during the year 1989: 7.756 operating hours produced electrical energy of 2.689 GWh. This is the fifth best annual result during Obrigheim's operating period. Since commissioning in October 1968, 154.866 hours of operation have generated 52.125 GWh (gross) and from test operation in March 1969 until the end of 1989, 154.086 hours of operation have generated 52.013 GWh. This is an availability of power of 82.1% in this period and a time availability of 84.4%. In 1988, the plant was shut down for 927 hours for the 20th refueling including testing, inspection and repair work. Apart from refueling, the plant had a good time availability and therefore contributed 5% to the safe, economical and environmentally acceptable electricity supply of the Land Baden-Wuerttemberg. The power station is of great significance to the region, both in terms of power supply and the economy. (orig.)

KWO wurde auch im Jahre 1989 weitgehend mit Vollast gefahren. Erzeugt wurde in 7.756 Betriebsstunden eine elektrische Energie von 2.689 GWh. Das ist das fuenftbeste Jahresergebnis in der Betriebszeit der KWO. Seit der Inbetriebnahme im Oktober 1968 wurden im Kernkraftwerk Obrigheim in 154.866 Betriebsstunden 52.125 GWh (brutto) erzeugt. Seit dem Probebetrieb im Maerz 1969 bis Ende 1989 waren es in 154.086 Betriebsstunden 52.013 GWh. Das ergibt fuer diesen Zeitraum eine Arbeitsausnutzung von 82,1% und eine Zeitausnutzung von 84,4%. Im Jahre 1989 wurde die Anlage zum 20. Brennelementwechsel einschliesslich Revisions-, Inspektions- und Reparaturarbeiten fuer 993 Stunden abgeschaltet. Ausserhalb des Brennelementwechsels wies die Anlage eine gute zeitliche Verfuegbarkeit auf und trug damit zur sicheren, wirtschaftlichen und umweltfreundlichen Elektrizitaetsversorgung Baden-Wuerttembergs mit etwa 5% bei. Fuer die hiesige Region ist die Anlage sowohl in bezug auf die Energieversorgung als auch im Wirtschaftsgeschehen ein wichtiger Faktor. (orig.)
