Theory of phase transformations
Description
The concept of characteristic cell volume of the theory of phase transformations was applied to melting, boiling, structure transformations liquid, and also solubility limit Csub(sl) and to three critical concentrations Csub(c) preceding the solubility limit in molten alloys. The attainment in the system of the free volume corresponds to anabsorotion by the system of energy L/K (L=energy of atomic dissociation and K-number of nearest neigbours of the solid phase). With the solution of the Schroedinger equation as a basis, it was shown that the energy of electron transition between adjacent levels is also equal to L/K
