Effect of sintering temperature on Structural and Dielectric properties of Sn substituted CuFe2O4 Nanoparticles

Description

Sn substituted Cu ferrite nanoparticles were synthesized (x=0.04, 0.06) by chemical co-precipitation method. The prepared samples were sintered at 300 °C, 600 °C, 900 °C. From XRD analyses the particle size increased due to sintering temperature. The lattice parameter decreased while increasing the concentration of Sn elements and sintering temperature. From SAED pattern of TEM results, the superimposition of bright spots confirms the polycrystalline nature. FT-IR results show the octahedral and tetrahedral stretching sites respectively. The remarkable change of dielectric constant and loss was found to be in the range of 100 KHZ- 700 MHZ. - Highlights: • The lattice parameter decreased while increasing the concentration of Sn doping. • The average particle size is in the range of 25–50 nm. • The SAED pattern confirms the polycrystalline nature.
