Description
We discuss the influence of the Coulomb interaction in the final state, and state-to-continuum interference on the electron emission yield from autoionizing resonances. The connection with the calculated excitation cross section of an autoionizing state, considered as a stationary discrete state, is given. The total electron emission yield from (2s2)1S and (2s2p)1P resonances of He is calculated for collision with intermediate and fast energy protons. (author)
