Nuclear medicine and sonography: Diagnostics within the framework of healing measures

The precondition of a healing measure is a menace to a reduction of the earning capacity. The goals should be measures to keep, improve and restore the earning capacity. This legal task led to the development clinics of different branches, e.g. the special division of Nuclear Medicine and ultrasonographic diagnostics in Bad Wildungen which can be used not only by the clinic itself but also by the clinics of other insurance carriers. Within the framework of the possibilities available there we carry out extensive diagnostics in the fields of thryroid deseases, renal diseases, liver and spleen diseases and diseases of the skeletal system. In addition to a RIA-laboratory for in-vitro diagnostics we have also a scanner, two γ-cameras and equipment of ultrasonography for the in-vivo examinations. With this diagnostical activities, not only known diseases are understood and clarified diagnostically but, as seen in the examples, often diseases which had been unknown up to that time or had been belittled are discovered and the treatment can be started.
