Radiative capture of π- mesons by xenon nuclei on stopping

Description
A xenon bubble chamber has been used to study the radiative capture of π- mesons on their stopping. Its probability at γ-ray energies >40 MeV relative to all capture channels is (1.06±0.10)·10-2. The energy spectrum of γ rays is described by a one-pole model
