Radiative corrections for Υ → Hγ in MS, and a lower bound on the mass of the Higgs
Description
To O(αs) QCD radiative corrections for Γ(Υ → Hγ) are calculated in the MS scheme. The value of αs to be used in the calculation is then fixed by the choice of the scale parameter μ in MS. Following other studies of quarkonia we analyze theoretical predictions for mb ≤ μ ≤ 2mb. This leads to the extraction of a Higgs mass bound when comparing the data on Υ(9.46) decays. We obtain mH ≥ 5.5 GeV for μ = 2mb and mH ≥ 4.5 GeV for μ = mb. (orig.)
