The influence of exchange spin splitting on exciton in Cd/sub 1-x/Mn/sub x/Te mixed crystals
Description
The magnetoabsorption of Cd/sub 1-x/Mn/sub x/Te is measured for 0.00 <= x <= 0.10 at temperatures 1.6 to 50 K. A complicated exciton spectrum consisting of split ground and excited states is observed. As a result of phenomenological analysis a continous transition between the spectra of pure CdTe and CdMnTe is found. (author)
