Description
The specific features in incommensurate phases are considered, which are controlled by competing order parameters. The temperature behaviour of the heat capacity and susceptibility in the incommensurate phase is described, and the conditions of realization of experimental results in some superconductors and other compounds of multicomponent chemical composition are discussed
