Radioisotopic radical surgery of type-III cervical neoplasm
Description
Female patients with gland-positive cancer of the cervix are given a subcutaneous injection of 99Tc colloid. 12 hours later, preoperative lymphatic scanning is possible which is necessary for radioisotope radical surgery. In most cases, complete removal of regional lymphatic tissue is thus possible. (VJ)

Patientinnen mit druesenpositiven Kollumkarzinoma wird eine subkutane Injektion von Technetium-99-Kolloid verabreicht. 12 Stunden spaeter kann ein praeoperativer Lymphscan erhoben werden, der die Durchfuehrung der Radioisotopen-Radikaloperation gestattet. In den meisten Faellen kann dadurch eine komplette Entfernung von regionaerem Lymphgewebe erzielt werden. (VJ)Additional details
