Description
The Mahler measure for the n-variable polynomial k + ∑(xj + 1/xj) is reduced to a single integral of the n-th power of the modified Bessel function I0. Several special cases are examined in detail. This article is part of 'Lattice models and integrability', a special issue of Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical in honour of F Y Wu's 80th birthday. (paper)
