Neutron monitors calibration with an americium-beryllium source
Description
In this report are shown the calibration results of four monitors type Snoopy carried out with an Am-Be source of 5 Ci. Neutron monitors calibration was performed in the building's roof of the RP-10 reactor auxiliary laboratories. For calibration, boundary scattering was considered according to the recommendations provided in the Tech. Rep. Series No. 285. For the doses estimates the MCNP code was used; and the source data (spectrum) and the flow conversion to doses data have been taken from Tech. Rep. Series No. 318
