U.S. industry response to Chernobyl. Final report, November 1988
Description
Following the accident on April 26, 1986 at the Soviet Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station, the U.S. Nuclear Power Industry set in motion a plan to ensure that any applicable lessons that could help avoid accidents at U.S. plants would be investigated. This report discusses the industry's response to each item in the response plan. It does not include all of the work performed outside of EPRI. It is assumed that response efforts of others will be reported elsewhere. (author)
