Description

This legal text first defines some general principles for the premise arrangement of an in vivo nuclear medicine department. The second part addresses design rules with general design rules for premises and equipment: general principles (premise location, design constraints for adjoining rooms, materials used for floors, walls, work areas and furniture), premises (premise for delivery, premise for radionuclide handling, waiting room for patients, premise for cell marking, vector internal radiotherapy chambers), equipment (toilets for patients, washbasins and sinks, ducts). Rules related to premise venting are also defined. The third part addresses exploitation rules with some general aspects (access and circulation, path followed by nuclear sources), some specific rules (access to radiotherapy chambers, use of radionuclide outside of the in vivo nuclear medicine department) and rules related to materials (source transportation)
