A case study of thermoluminescence in uranium exploration

Description
Following an account of a study of the thermoluminescence possibilities in the exploration of deep or buried uranium deposits, the continuation of the research to the complete study of a sedimentary basin with some uranium occurrences is described. In this work, two types of samples were taken: those from the subsurface and those from cuttings of a drilling survey. It is demonstrated that thermoluminescence can be used to locate the uranium occurrences and the migrations pathways of the radon and the uraniferous mineralizing solutions. (orig.)
