Description

For the time being the regulatory framework of the Nuclear Technology Committee (KTA) comprises 41 published rules and 15 draft rules. 57 further rules are in the various stages of processing. Moreover several passed rules are checked for their necessity ad amendment. For the near future the main task of the Nuclear Technology Committee will be to round off the current rules programme by filling up existing gaps and to define additional rules for those cases wehre there is a demand. Parallel to this the regulatory framework has to be brought up to date. For the distant future the rules programme shall be extended to advanced reactor types and to the whole fuel cycle. (orig./HP)

Abstract (German)

Das Regelwerk des KTA umfasst zur Zeit 41 veroeffentlichte Regeln und 15 Regelentwuerfe. 57 weitere Regeln befinden sich auf verschiedenen Stufen der Bearbeitung. Daneben werden mehrere verabschiedete Regeln auf Aenderungsbeduerftigkeit ueberprueft. Fuer die nahe Zukunft wird es die Hauptaufgabe des KTA sein, das laufende Regelprogramm fuer LWR durch Ausfuellen bestehender Luecken abzurunden und zusaetzliche Regelthemen dort zu definieren, wo sich ein Regelungsbedarf abzeichnet. Parallel dazu ist das bestehende Regelwerk auf aktuellem Stand zu erhalten. Fuer die fernere Zukunft ist daran gedacht, das Regelprogramm auf fortgeschrittene Reaktortypen und auf den gesamten Brennstoffkreislauf auszudehnen. (orig./HP)
