Description
In the Foreword - the academician of National Academy of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan - professor Lukyanov A. T. - notes that issue of the Takibaev's book 'Nuclear power - razing and creating' is timely and actual for the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the book the problems of nuclear sites situated on the territory of Republic are elucidated and pathways of the problems solution are shown. Under the author supervision not only comprehensive researches of radioecological situation in Kazakhstan are carried out, and scientific school of physicists-radioecologists was created as well. In the short time the school was able to determine of radiation situation in the any area of country. The author pays a big attention to work of achievement of reliability of obtained radioecological results, because, this is a ground in other fields of science: medicine, biology and others. The methodic for contamination determination by such isotopes as cesium, strontium and plutonium were worked out on the world standards level. The author brings up the problems of nuclear energy development in Kazakhstan, mainly its safety, economy and rationality of developed technologies
