Description
It is shown that radiotherapy is applied for treatment of oncologic patients both as independent method and as a component of combined and multimodality treatment (various combinations with surgical and chemohormonal treatment). Different methods of tumor irradiation (preor postoperative radiotherapy, additional chemohormonal therapy) are described in detail. Particular attention is paid to application of colloid 198Au, injected intravenously in the form of radiopharmaceutical preparation into patients with lung and stomach carcinoma for the purpose of their treatment and successive operation
