Theoretical investigation of anomalies in 162Er
Description
Within the framework of the self-consistent cranking model and including approximate particle number projection, the strange anomalies at high spin states in the nucleus 162Er are studied. The results obtained show that there is a sudden increase of angular momentum and a decrease of the neutron energy gap due to the alignment of the neutrons of positive parity
