Calculation of the masses and the widths of quark and antiquark bound states
Description
A two-particle relativistic quasipotential three-dimensional equation is used to calculate the masses and leptonic widths of vector mesons in the quark model. The quark-antiquark potential is taken in the form containing a confining term for large distances and a Coulomb term for small ones. By comparison with experimental data available parameters of the potential have been also determined. The behaviour of the potential is in harmony with the hypothesis on asymptotic freedom
