The photon structure function and the total 33 hadronic cross section
Description
In this paper the authors limit themselves to two related and central aspects of the two photon physics namely the total γγ → h cross section and the photon structure function F/sub 2/. In Section II some experimental remarks and data analysis procedures are discussed. In Section III a brief summary is given on the various theoretical models used for comparison with the data. Section IV deals with the experimental results reported for the total cross section. In Section V the relation between the photon structure function and σ/sup γγ//sub tot/ is discussed and a summary of F/sub 2/ measurements is given in Section VI. Finally conclusions are drawn in Section VII
