Width measurement of the 6Li4.31 state by the 7Li(3He, αd)α reaction

Description
The Jπ = 2+, T = 0 6Li state at Ex = 4.31 MeV was populated by the 7Li(3He, αd)α reaction performed at 4, 5, and 6 MeV 3He incident energies. The values obtained for Γ(6Li4.31) were compared with those deduced from the above reaction at E(3He) = 2.5 MeV. In contrast to the findings of other authors, no dependence of the above parameter on incident energy was observed. 23 refs., 1 fig., 2 tabs
