On the quark mass dependence of fp from QSSR
Description
We reanalyze the quark mass MQ dependence of the pseudoscalar decay constant fp from the relativistic QCD spectral sum rules (QSSR). We then deduce the mass formula in units of GeV fp/fπ≅(4.6±0.4)/√MQ(1-1.56/MQ+0.88/MQ2) for 0.64 GeV≤ΔQtriple bond√tc-Mp≤2.14 GeV and for MQ≥Mc, which confirms the previous relativistic QSSR result. We also confirm the flavour independence of the quark-meson mass splitting which we find to be Mp-MQ=(0.6-0.7) GeV. (orig.)
