Production cross-sections of projectile-like isotopes in 112Sn + 112Sn and 124Sn + 124Sn reactions at 1A GeV

Description
Isotopic cross-sections of projectile-like residues produced in 112Sn + 112Sn and 124Sn + 124Sn reactions at an incident beam energy of 1A GeV are studied in the framework of the multi-source thermal model. The multiplicity-like distribution of neutrons in projectile-like isotopes can be successfully expressed by using the Erlang distribution which is the folding result of multi-exponential distributions with the same parameter. The results calculated by using the model are in agreement with the experimental data of Fohr et al. [arXiv:1106.5368vl [nucl-ex]].
