Spectrophotometric study of the complexing of some 3d-elements with heteropolyanion [ZMo12Mo42]8-

Description

Using the spectrophotometric method the complexing of some 3d-elements (M(2) = Mn-Zn, M(3) = Fe) with heteropolyanion (HPA) [ZM012O42]8- (Z(4) = Ce, Th, U) is studied; the limiting relation of reacting components in the solution M:HPA = 2:1 is established. The total referral of d-d-transitions in spectra of studied complexes, as well as the measured magnetic susceptibility values confirm a high-spin octahedral configuration of transition metal ions. The comparison of 3d-element d-d-transition energy in heteropolycomplexes and corresponding aquo ions has shown the relationship between [ZM012O42]8- ligands and H2O in the crystal field strength
