Recent experimental results and perspectives on hadron properties in nuclei
Description
The properties of the ω meson in the nuclear medium are discussed. Evidence is presented for a lowering of the ω mass by about 14% and a broadening to 90 MeV extrapolated to normal nuclear matter density. Attempts to search for ω mesic states are described. (author)
