Determination of 234U/238U and 235U/238U ratios from commercially available uranium compounds by α-spectrometry
Description
The 234U/238U and 235U/238U ratios from uranium compounds by α-spectrometry technique have been obtained. Ten commercially available uranium reagents were analyzed. The well-separated peaks corresponding to uranium isotopes are evident, providing an energy spectrum of the α-particles of uranium isotopes. It was found that some commercial uranium salts were depleted in 234U and 235U. (author) 12 refs.; 4 figs.; 1 tab
