Description
Identification of key result areas and their outcomes, efficient outages, and regulatory, industry, and community relationships play large roles in Point Beach's long-standing record of achievement. Developing a business plan is no longer unique for a nuclear operating unit. To produce meaningful results with it, however, compels management to hue closely to the plan, gage progress in key areas, and develop effective participation by employees. By all three criteria, Point beach station's plan developed by its nuclear-power business unit (NPBU) is working well
