Method for preparation of barium carbide labelled by carbon 14
Description
A method of preparation of barium carbide labelled by carbon-14 by means of interaction between barium carbonate powders labelled by carbon-14 and metallic magnesium in regime of burning in the air at molar ratio of the components 1:3.4-4 and magnesium particle sized of 1-100 μm has been suggested. The yield of the required product is 98.8-99.9 %. The method suggested ensures a decrease in radioactive wastes. 1 tab
