Measurement of the tissue blood distribution of the small intestines in dogs by 99mTc-labelled osmotically swollen erythrocytes

Description
A new method was elaborated for the measurement of tissue blood distribution of the small intestines in dogs. Osmotically swollen autolog erythrocytes labelled with 99mTc were applied as microspheres. The procedure is suitable for pharmacological investigations and allows the parallel determination of blood flow by an electromagnetic flow-meter. The low cost of the method is also remarkable.
