Description

Multiplicity distributions of different charged particle emitted in the interactions of 28Si with different groups in nuclear emulsion are reported. Dependence of multiplicities of charged particles on the target fragments is examined. The data obtained are compared with the data available for the projectile secondaries 24Mg at same energy per nucleon. The validity of Koba-Neilson-Oleson (KNO) type of scaling behavior of multiplicity distribution is also examined for light (CNO) and heavy target (AgBr) nuclei. (author)
