New results from the Obelix collaboration on strange particle production
Description
Recently, experiments on φ-meson production in the annihilation of stopped antiprotons have demonstrated a significant (by a factor of 30-50) violation of the OZI rule. New experimental results on the production of φ and f2'(1525) mesons in the annihilation of stopped antiprotons obtained by the OBELIX collaboration are discussed. The explanation of these facts in the framework of the polarized intrinsic nucleon strangeness model is considered
