Description
The most probable total kinetic energies for the heavy-ion collision fragments are considered. The influence of the fragment dynamical deformation, nucleon transfer and the neck formation on the scission configuration of the double nuclear system is analysed. It is shown that the dynamical deformation of the fragments on the way to scission and the nucleon transfer cannot explain the observed dependence of the most probable kinetic energies of the fragments on the exit channel mass asymmetry. The inclusion of the neck formation into consideration gives a possibility of reproducing the experimental data on the kinetic energies for heavy composite systems with the total charge Z ∼ 100
