Electron paramagnetic resonance and electrofield effects in KCl:Eu2+ monocrystals

Description
The magnitudes and signs of the constants of the spin Hamiltonian, describing electron spin resonance in KC1:Eu2+, were determined at room temperature and the influence of an external electric field on the splitting of the ground state of the impurity ion was found. The dipole formed by Eu2+ and a charge compensator became oriented in the electric field. The distance separating the components of this dipole was determined. (author)
