Automatic system for gas supply of the RISK facility
Description
An automatic system for gas supply to the large-volume streamer chambers is described. The system monitors the preset pressure differential between the gas in the streamer chamber and atmosphere and controls the temperature conditions in the adsorbers. The gas supply system is also employed for substitution of the air in the chamber by the working gas and for circulation cleaning. The system comprises two carbon adsorbers, ionization chamber, compressor and control unit. The pressute and temperature measurement results are registered via a coupler by the TRA-1001 computer. The construction of the adsorber and ionization chamber is described. Discussed in detail is the operation of the control unit consisting of the control circuit of the working parameter, metering circuit of working mixture components and control circuit of working mixture circulation. One-year service of the gas supply system has proved its high reliability
