Description
Parameters of a fine structure of angular γ-quantum distribution in positron annihilation in a monocrystalline quartz depending on the composition and impurity concentration are measured. The correlation detected is interpreted within the frame of chemical interaction of a positronium atom with impurity atoms. The scheme of the processes is shown to correspond to kinetics of positronium pseudomolecular reactions controlled by diffusion. The value of positronium diffusion in quartz is determined; estimations of maximum accuracy regions and limiting sensitivity as applied to analytical possibilities of the positron annihilation method are carried out
