Properties of a small radon diffusion chamber with plastic track detectors
Description
The response of radon diffusion chambers of a few cm3 in volume have been determined by experiment and calculation. Environmental effects have also been measured. It has been demonstrated that the response is stable to within +- 3% for exposure periods of three hours or longer. The plastic nuclear track detector used is CR-39 polycarbonate. (author)
