Ten-dimensional Kaluza-Klein theory
Description
It is shown that equations of motion of 10-dimensional Einistein-Maxwell theory admit solutions corresponding to a spontaneous compactification of extra dimensions into compac; spaces containing CP2 and S2 spaces as subspaces. Corresponding Kaluza-Klein vacuum states are invariant under combined SU(3), SU(2), U(1) transformations
