Description

A project of small-sized, pulse plasma accelerator is proposed. The acceleration effect is caused by the interaction of an azimuthal electric current created by an axial non-stationary magnetic field with a constant radial magnetic field, which is formed by a special magnetic system with a T-shaped core. An estimate of the acceleration rate for a deuterium plasma is derived

Abstract (Russian)

Предложен проект малогабаритного импульсного ускорителя плазмы. Ускорение плазмы осуществляется при взаимодействии азимутального электрического тока, создаваемого аксиальным нестационарным магнитным полем, с постоянным радиальным магнитным полем, формируемым в специальной магнитной системе с Т-образным сердечником. Приводятся оценки темпа ускорения на примере дейтериевой плазмы
