Effect of the phases of production on the oxydative stability of polyethylene products cross-linked with radiation

Description
The reaction kinetics of cross-linking by easily controllable 0.1-20 MeV electron beams with effective doses in the range of 60-200 kGy is studied. The oxygen uptake kinetics following various production processes and the characteristic mechanical properties of final products, primarily of polyethylene shrink tubes are discussed. (A.L.)
