Thermal capacity, ESR spectra and the pressure effect on phase transition from the Oh5 cubic phase into the C4h5 tetragonal one in Cs2NaYBr6 ferroelastic are studied. The results are discussed within the thermodynamic theory as compared to the experimental data on fluorides and chlorides
