Description
X-ray detection techniques and the composition structure of the back scatter imaging system are introduced, which have been applied in security inspection field. 2 mode structures of the combined machine are proposed, which can obtain the back scatter image and the transmission image through single time scan, and the corresponding experimental platform are built. An imaging test is completed, the back scattering and transmission images are acquired. And the comparison information according to the images is interpreted on materials hidden in box including a TNT block, a small bag of NH3NO3 and two bottle of water which through dual ray source structure platform; The shortcoming of single source combined imaging machine is argued that uses discrete point scanner, which transmission image resolution is lower than usual. As a result, the approach that improves the back scattering and transmission image signal to noise ratio and image resolution is pointed out in this paper. (authors)
