Description
SGN has developed two processes for concreting of concentrates, resins and sludge issuing from the treatment of low and medium activity effluents: - the discontinuous process for small productions and when a rustic installation is required; - the continuous process using horizontal mixers, including a superconcentration phase when the best volume reduction is required and economically justified. The experience acquired within the CEA Group on the insolubilization of radionuclides enabled the adaptation of a pretreatment optimized according to the mechanical characteristics and leaching rate required for the cement
