Mesonic Y-scaling
- 1. Univ. of Colorado, Boulder, CO (United States)
Description
At large momentum transfer and energy loss, quasifree (e, e') cross sections are known to scale in the kinematic variable y. Deviations from scaling behavior signify the onset of non-quasifree knockout processes. The method is extended to weakly interacting mesonic probes. Examples are taken from recent pion and kaon quasifree inclusive experiments
