Improvement of the methods of the concrete placement in winter at the Balakovo NPP

Description
Non-heating methods of concrete placement are described applicably to main types of designs of the main building of a NPP with WWER-1000. Advisability of tentless concrete placement is substantiated based on nature observations. Based on experience in concrete placement under construction of reactor compartment at the Balakovo-1 NPP it is concluded that introduction of tentless laying and non-heating methods of building holding is the reserve for increase of labour productivity and reduction of cost of concrete placements in winter. Thus, economical efficiency of development and introduction of the technology of winter concrete placement at Balakovo NPP made up 8-10 roubles per 1 m3 of concrete
