Multinucleon transfer in (n,α) reactions on light nuclei
- 1. Institute of Nuclear Research, Warsaw (Poland)
Description
Measured angular distributions of alpha particles from fast neutron reactions on 9Be and 14N nuclei were analysed using the finite range distorted wave Born approximation formalism. The results indicate that FR DWBA analysis is successful in describing these reactions and may be used to test the theoretical predictions concerning the cluster structure of nuclei. Some problems encountered in such an analysis are pointed out and considered. (author)
