Description
The vast use of electronic devices in nuclear industry is explained. Advantages such as centralized control demanded by larger plants coupled with the reduced cost and improved reliability of instruments, etc. are metioned. Their use in performing logic functions and performance calculations is also included. A brief outline of the future scope of these advanced techniques being used in power plants in India is also given. (K.B.)
